Designed, built & completed by owners John & Helen Fawcett, Settlers is an eco-friendly venue which offers plenty of privacy and luxury. Presented with quality fittings throughout, our venue provides the perfect relaxed and romantic getaway, where you can indulge your senses in this gourmet region of Victoria.
Facing the north east with views over the adjacent vineyard to the hills beyond, you can relax and unwind with every convenience at hand or enjoy the nearby King River Cafe and wineries just down the road. You dont have to drive - as these attractions are a leisurely stroll away - so you can relax as you please or get some exercise if you choose - we're located just a stones throw from the bicycle Rail Trail and the King River.... then indulge in gourmet food and wine delights - it's the full package!
Centrally located to all the popular attractions - Brown Brothers Winery; Milawa Cheese Factory; The Olive Shop; Sam Mirandas Winery; Ciavarella Wines, Oxley and Gehrigs Wines... the list goes on and on - you will be spoiled for choice.
Luxury King size bed (which can be split into two - requested at booking) or Queen suites are offered in the two bedrooms with Egyptian Linen and fluffy towels. A shower built for 2 or a deep full size bath... Hmmmm... Maybe pack some of your favourite bubble bath or salts or perhaps a good book - you will definitely unwind and relax here.
The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped and open planned to the Dining and Lounge.. all with access to the front verandah for eating inside or out -adjoining a grassed common area for mixing or entertaining with friends.
